Soccer Experience

Jorge has vast experience in soccer. He was born in Mexico City and joined the prestigious youth academy of Atlas FC in Guadalajara Jalisco. He became pro at 17, winning championships in both 3rd Division and 2nd Division with Atlas. He caught the eye of a 1st Division team in Peru after successful participation at an International tournament. Jorge spent one year in Peru before returning to Guadalajara to play with Universidad de Guadalajara, U de G at 1st “A” Division. The next few years, he played for Leon FC and Gallos Blancos 1st Division before moving to Dorados de Culiacan, where he met his wife.

Jorge moved to Chicago to play for the professional Indoor Soccer team Chicago Storm. He played for about six years in different Indoor Soccer teams, including the Rockford Rampage and Orlando Sharks.

Jorge started coaching 15 years ago and was part of the prestigious Chicago Magic Academy. Now he is the Executive Director at Chicago Blues. Jorge has three kids who currently play for the Blues.
